As a professional photographer for over 12 years I spent months researching and piecing together a picture perfect dorm room based on my daughter and her roommate’s aesthetic while figuring out where to save with dupes and where to splurge for her comfort all the while managing the decor budget and the tuition cost that was about to hit. It became a passion project that brought me joy during this emotional transition period.
